We are so excited to start this year with you! The HCRA is known for it's inclusive and active community and you are a huge part of it. Ride Day is April 18th, 2026 and we've got the info you need below to get set up!
We are well on our way for the 27th season, and have a ton of events planned for us all!
1) Start and build your team! - You don't have to be a part of a team. We have plenty of solo-riders. BUUUT, this is a social ride, so most of our activities are made even better when you experience them with friends. The team can be comprised of riders, volunteers, or both! As a matter of fact, most of our team are a mix of both. Lean in with your friends; host fundraisers, plan costumes, plan your camping (or just your day at Krause). It's more fun when you make it yours.
Where do my fundraising dollars go?
Every year the Hill Country Ride for AIDS provides much needed funds to 9 local nonprofits focused directly on HIV/AIDS services. Every aspect of care is covered with these agencies: prevention, testing, medication, housing, counseling, social services, and hospice care.
The HCRA is the largest fundraiser for these agencies, and your dollars make an immediate, critical impact on their ability to fulfill their mission. Fundraising continues through the entirety of May of 2025, and checks are delivered to the agencies in person in July. It’s an amazing day to see their gratitude at all levels for the hard work and generosity of so many. Learn more.
