Equality Texas is largest statewide nonprofit fighting for LGBTQIA+ Texans.
Equality Texas works to secure full equality for LGBTQIA+ Texans through education, community organizing, and direct support. Across the state, we help people facing discrimination connect to real resources through programs like the Equality Texas Help Desk, while also training community leaders and working in coalition to build long-term change. Our goal is simple: to ensure every Texan can live safely, openly, and with dignity—and that communities across Texas are stronger and more inclusive because of it.
Texas Competes is the business engagement initiative of Equality Texas, bringing together employers across the state to advance workforce competitiveness, talent attraction, and welcoming workplaces. Through trusted relationships, executive convenings, and practical resources, Texas Competes connects, equips, and activates business leaders to help strengthen Texas' economy and ensure our state remains a place where businesses and people can thrive.
