Description
Panoramic Voices and Density512 join forces for DIVAS, a high-energy concert that transforms iconic pop anthems into sweeping choral and orchestral experiences. Centered on collaboration and new music, the program features five original arrangements by local composers inspired by legendary artists including Cher, Chappell Roan, Kate Bush, Celine Dion, and Dua Lipa—alongside electrifying reimaginings of hits by Dolly Parton, Beyoncé, Prince, David Bowie, Whitney Houston, Madonna, and more.
Set inside the grand hall of the Bullock Texas State History Museum, DIVAS brings together a massive community chorus, chamber orchestra, and the dazzling presence of drag artist Aria Rey, who will emcee and perform atop the museum’s iconic marble map of Texas. The result is a joyful, genre-bending celebration of the voices that have shaped generations—while shining a spotlight on Austin’s vibrant creative community.
With bold arrangements, big voices, and a one-of-a-kind setting (yes, with air conditioning and easy parking), DIVAS promises an unforgettable night of music, storytelling, and spectacle.
