On June 27th at KMFA, come celebrate the 55th anniversary of Austin's first Pride March and the 50th anniversary of Austin’s first Pride Week (June 20–26, 1976) at our next flagship production—Embodied: A Celebration of Pride. The City of Austin will be officially recognizing Pride Arts & Heritage Week with a mayoral proclamation! The evening opens with a community resource fair and visual art gallery exhibition featuring Austin-based BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ visual artists, followed by live performances spanning classical, jazz, ballet, Indian Classical, tap dancing, contemporary, Filipino, and West African musical and movement traditions.
