The Grackle is a classic East Austin neighborhood spot that pairs a dark, worn-in indoor bar with a huge, relaxed backyard patio. It has a real local feel to it, complete with a massive whiskey list, pool and darts, and old records covering the walls.
Whether you're new to Austin, looking to make more queer friends, or already know half the room, you're welcome here. Our weekly events are always newcomer and solo-friendly. Come by yourself, bring your friends, stay for one drink or make a night of it - the whole point is cultivate a safe space for Austin's lesbian, queer & sapphic community.
